1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Clean Grid Racing ("the platform", "the service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Clean Grid Racing is a community platform for organising and participating in Gran Turismo 7 (GT7) racing sessions. We provide:

  • Race listings and scheduling
  • Lobby room code sharing for registered members
  • Driver ratings and race result tracking
  • Stewarding and incident resolution tools
  • Host management tools

Clean Grid Racing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sony Interactive Entertainment, Polyphony Digital, or the Gran Turismo franchise.

3. Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3.2 One Account Per Person

Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts ("smurfing") is prohibited and will result in all accounts being suspended. Your PSN ID may only be linked to one account.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3.4 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information during registration, particularly your PSN ID and experience tier. Deliberately providing false information may result in account suspension.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Subscription Required

Access to members-only features (race room codes, driver profiles, hosting tools) requires an active subscription.

4.2 Pricing

Current subscription options:

  • Monthly: £14.99 per month
  • Annual: £119.99 per year

Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured at their original price until renewal.

4.3 Billing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage your subscription at any time through your account settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of payment if you believe a refund is warranted. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your first subscription purchase.

5. Racing Rules & Conduct

5.1 Clean Racing

Clean Grid Racing exists to promote clean, fair racing. You agree to:

  • Race cleanly and respect other drivers on track
  • Follow the race specifications set for each session (car, track, settings)
  • Accept the outcomes of the rating system and stewarding process
  • Communicate respectfully in all platform channels

5.2 Prohibited Behaviour

The following will result in penalties, suspension, or permanent ban:

  • Intentional wrecking or deliberate contact
  • Exploiting game glitches for competitive advantage
  • Harassment, abuse, or discriminatory language
  • Sharing room codes with non-members
  • Creating duplicate accounts
  • Manipulating race results or ratings

5.3 The Stewards Room

Incidents during races may be reported to The Stewards Room. You agree to:

  • Cooperate with the stewarding process if involved in a report
  • Provide evidence honestly and in good faith
  • Accept Stewards Room decisions, which may include rating adjustments

6. Hosting

6.1 Host Responsibilities

If you host race sessions, you agree to:

  • Follow the published race specifications
  • Verify entrant eligibility before starting
  • Submit accurate race results
  • Maintain a respectful environment during sessions

6.2 Host Trust Score

Hosts are rated by participants. Consistently poor ratings may result in hosting privileges being reviewed.

7. Ratings & Data

7.1 Driver Ratings

Your pace, safety, and reliability ratings are calculated automatically based on race performance and stewarding outcomes. Ratings are visible to other members.

7.2 Race Results

Race results are stored as immutable records. Once submitted and confirmed, results cannot be altered except through the Stewards Room process.

8. Intellectual Property

The Clean Grid Racing platform, including its design, code, and branding, is our property. Gran Turismo 7, GT7, PlayStation, and PSN are trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital. Their use here is for identification purposes only.

9. Limitation of Liability

Clean Grid Racing is provided "as is". We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted availability of the service
  • Accuracy of driver ratings or race results
  • The behaviour of other users in GT7 lobbies

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms. Upon deletion:

  • Your personal data is removed
  • Race results are anonymised (not deleted) to preserve historical integrity
  • Active subscriptions are cancelled with no further charges

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
